When art overwhelms you in all the best ways

In 2015 we visited The Kunsthal in Rotterdam for an exhibit of the work of KriÅ”tof Kintera, as Iād seen a picture of his sculptures and I wanted to see the sculptures for myself.
Looking at this picture Iām there, again, staring at this huge sculpture that so overwhelmed me.
The colours were spectacular, the sculpture looked alive.
This photo doesnāt do it justice, but it gives a small glimpse of the beauty I witnessed that day.
I remember the emotions I felt, standing there, nailed to the ground, gaping. I remember walking around the sculpture, studying it, feeling all the colours seep into my skin.
I remember my teary eyes.
My goodness. To live in a world where art like this exists. Itās the best gift, one that still resonates ten years later.
Here is another picture, itās blurry, but there are humans behind it, for scale.
