Writing

For as long as I can remember I have been writing. I first started with poetry. My first poem was published in a school newspaper when I was 10 or 11 :)

Soon I will be sharing more of my poetry and short stories here on this page. As a start, my poem titled Ocean.

Calmness is deep in me now
the ocean finally settled down
and slowly mellowed out on
the coastline of my true self

Where once was fear is a
deep felt love for myself and
for the world around me, my
arms are ready to embrace

>Long have I drifted on the
high waves of the ocean in
fear, my emotions raced high
and I was a constant slave

Now I faced them, one by one
and slowly the ocean that once
was so violent, gently started to
flow along with my true being

Calmness is deep in me now
the ocean of emotions flows in
a constant, rhythmic motion on
the coastline that is my true self
