Car boot sale
We went to the car boot sale just now, which is basically a flea market as nothing was sold out of car boots 😂
I had just 5 euros in my pocket and a smile on my face. It wasn’t entirely my weather, the humidity was something fierce, triggering my asthma, but I enjoyed myself.
There was a LOT of kid stuff and clothes and I wasn’t interested in both, but I managed to find some things between all that 😃
Also met the cutest dog!
What my 5 euros bought me:
- a book on Miles Davis, with cd!
- a purple necklace
- a pretty metal box
- a Ty sock monkey to put with the sock monkey I’ve made years ago.
funny story about the book:
I only had two euros left by the time I reached the seller. He had a note in the back of the book that it was sold in an auction for 48 euros once.
He said I could have it for five.
I said, sorry, only have two.
I turned to leave and then he said: would I make you really happy if I sold it for two?
I nodded like a bobblehead and bought the book.
