Coldplay at Glastonbury 2016
The weather was miserable during Glastonbury Festival in 2016, especially before. It was so muddy at the site due to all the rainfall, that it was hard to walk around (especially when you already were having physical issues).
Despite all these challenges, we made it to the Sunday evening relatively unscathed. We were at the Pyramid stage, the main stage at the festival, as we had been there for most of that day.
It was time for one of my favourite bands, Coldplay, to give one of the final concerts of the festival.
I was happy about that final part, I was cold, in pain, muddy and so ready to go home the next day.
Then the band walked on stage, soon A Head Full of Dreams started, the stage lit up in bright colour and I became joy.
I danced, I laughed, I sang, I felt so elated.
100.000 lights flickered on across the field, emitting from the bracelets that make everyone feel like part of the concert, forming beads of colourful joy deep into the darkness behind us.

Waves and waves of confetti caught the light of the stage, and in that one moment, a random field in the middle of Somerset became magical.
We headed back to our tent that night with smiles on our faces, agreeing that Coldplay was our best concert of the festival.
Maybe of our lives.
