How I manage to journal every day

I know journaling is good for me and I try to get myself to write even if my mind goes "don't wanna!".
One of the tricks I use is to always have my journal with me, that's why I use a passport traveller's notebook as my journal.
But I need more. I need pens I love, and lately, those pens are fountain pens. I'm lucky that my favourite fountain pens are cheapo things, like the platinum preppy, but I also have a pilot capless that I bought for a lot cheaper than they usually are on eBay.
And I love to write with them. I've stopped trying to be environmentally conscious and only use ink cartridges because I always make messes with refillable ones and after my TWSBI eco broke and spilled ink all over my bag, I was so done with that (I may try refilling disposable cartridges with ink one day, tho).
My fountain pens are bright and colourful and write like a dream. I love to start with my Pelikan Twist because I love to roll that one through my fingers (and it writes like a dream).
That simple combination of fountain pen and notebook with stellar paper makes me want to journal, and when I do, I always feel better, happier.
And if that means that I get to geek out over purchasing new fountain pens, I'm good with that too.
I also don't force myself to write lengthy entries. I just want to write one page a day (and those pages are tiny, but so is my writing), but most days I just can't stop writing once I write my first lines.
And every day, no matter how much I write, I feel SO much better as a result.
