On forgetting joyful things
So today I sat down to create a logo I'd lost, for my old blog posts. Back then I used a fixed logo for every tag.
I looked in Metamoji Note, the app I used to create them in, and I found something I'd completely forgotten about.
In the doodle book, a digital journal filled with sketches, there were at least ten different doodles of a cat character called Kitty, going into all sorts of mischief.
Given that I dated everything, a compulsion I still have, I could see that most of the doodles were made by the end of 2019, and I forgot all about them.
It was SUCH a joy finding these little doodles. I giggled through them. My husband was across from me at the table in the waiting room. He arched his eyebrows at me.
I showed him the doodles, and within seconds he giggled too.
Finding Kitty yesterday made my day, and I'm so glad to share him with you now, almost six years after doodling him.
