This is the first year in a long time that I intend to write a 50.000 word novel for NaNoWriMo!
I'm currently working on preparing for my novel.
And no, that doesn't mean plotting. It means I'm acquainting myself with my characters.
I've written the character letters from my main character and her children, but I also need to write the letter for her love interest and her grandmother and aunt as I don't know them yet.
I also want to edit a non-fiction project (a collection of old blog posts), because I feel a pull to do so. I think that this will be nice to focus on when I get tired of writing about a witchy woman and her crazy village.
I do intend to post here daily, and I have told myself I don't care if I miss a day. (ha! take that, perfectionism!)
