Week 36 2025

🗓️ 1 to 7 September

Here is a peek into things I did, blog posts I wrote and blog posts I found interesting, and other happenings!
  • I went to the hospital on Tuesday for my quarterly checkup. When I head that the results were mostly good but the tumor markers were heightened, I decided to look into things I can do to help my body fight cancer. Bought books, of course, because books are everything.
  • Steve joined the Traveler's Notebook cult too 😂
  • I’m editing two different projects, both to do with journaling. I should be finished with them both soon.
  • Marisabel shares my love for the humble emdash
  • Worked valiantly to declutter my office. May have turned into an even bigger mess, but it’s getting better.
  • Finished reading The Pumpkin Spice Cafe by Laurie Gilmore because I needed a cheesy Autumn romance, and it delivered. I gave it  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. (as an aside, cheesy is not a negative, I NEEDED the escape a romance gives me, and it was perfect. I did have a lot of questions tho. Would I want coffee at a cafe that is so autumn focused, for instance?)
  • I wrote about being constantly fatigued and what I do to battle the feeling.  What I’ve learned from being tired all the time
  • And after that post there was radio silence, I had a LOT of sparks for blog posts, but didn't write any. That always happens when I have a full head, but I did take notes :)
  • James writes such a lovely homage to walking
  • I posted a new Dear Creative Soul letter, first one in months, and it's about widening your mind to let more creativity out.
