Writing logs

One of my best writing-related rediscoveries in my old blog posts is the fact that for a while I kept writing logs.

This is the list of prompts I used to write my log at the end of my writing day.

Insights after writing today:

The idea of a writing log comes from Henriette Klauser’s Writing on Both Sides of the Brain, which is one of my favourite writing books.

I expanded on it with my logs. Reading through them was so much fun!

I added the I’ve read prompt because, for me, writing and reading are connected to each other, and in the month I kept writing logs, I read a lot of writing-related books, and I wrote what my takeaway from the books was.

I look forward to starting to do this again, especially now my fiction brain is back! I think I would like to keep a separate blog for it, to not clutter up this one.

Can’t wait!
