Yoga teaches me self love in unexpected ways

Went to yoga again today, a different teacher, and it was so transformative. 

Instead of talking constantly, he got us to pause between each asana, in tailor seat, eyes close. 

I teared up several times because I could feel what each asana did to my body. 

I could feel the strain in my muscles, the breath, first high, then slowly flowing to the stomach. 

I could feel my eyes close to look inward every time. 

And then, with relaxation after, I felt such a powerful inner peace. 

Amazing feeling, coming home within me.
