🗓️ 29 June to 5 July
favourite thing this week
Finding an almost complete journalling idea in my notes.
writing
- I'm editing a journalling workshop to publish hopefully this month, alongside another!
- I've found the draft for the journal that I mentioned above. I really don't remember writing last year (chemo brainfog, it's real!), and I love it so much that I'm publishing it soon.
blogging
- on the 28th I posted my memories of my great aunt
- and my weeknotes for week 26-2026
- added a lot of badges to the footer of both my blogs and it makes me smile every time I see them. Some of them still need a bit of work to make them more colourful :)
- On July 3 I posted a childhood memory of reading
- And on the 4th I finally posted the second part of my pictures from Middelburg
blog posts in the pipeline
- A new dear creative soul letter
- on de-digitalising
- my new note taking system (see below)
creating
- had to redo my cotton fingerless gloves because cotton is different from my usual sock yarn and I needed a bit more leeway :) They are a bit wide at the wrist, but that's a plus!
- Am continuing my paint marker experiments. So much fun! May share pics next week.
reading
- Martha Wells - exit strategy (on e-reader in bag)
- Matt Haig - The midnight train
- Roland Allen - The Notebook - a History of Thinking on Paper
read
- N.R. Walker - Bloom ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (SO CUTE)
watching
- We have started watching the Doomies on D+ and it's so much fun. Reminds me of Gravity Falls and Buffy! ### watched
- haven’t watched a lot this week 🙂 Am realising it would be fun to share favourite YouTube videos here.
listening
- this fantastic album by Pond
- such a great talk between Hank Green and Ze Frank
joyful things
- Have slowly tidied up the bedroom and office. It makes me so happy that even with low energy I can make an impact on the house.
- The Tour de France has started again, so exciting!
blog posts I’ve enjoyed reading
- Things I lost, sold, or gave away that I wish I still had

- Exclamatory birthday edition // W26 — 2026]
something I’ve enjoyed using this week
I have made up a whole new notes and planning system on flashcards and I love it so much. It really is exactly what I needed at this time. I will no doubt write about it on my blog one of these days.
something that I’m grateful for
That the results of my blood tests were good!
from my commonplace book
Health is neither good nor bad, since it is neither virtue nor vice; we can be happy whether we are healthy or unhealthy.
